Participation in these sessions indicates your consent to such recordings. Recordings are used only for program delivery and will not be sold or distributed publicly without permission.

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

By accessing this site, subscribing to emails, or purchasing participation in the Jest Read It program, you agree to the following terms.

Jest Read It is an independent reading program and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the estate of David Foster Wallace, the publisher of Infinite Jest, or any related entity.

Participants are responsible for obtaining their own copy of the book discussed in the program. The book itself is not included with program access.

1. Program Access

Paid participation provides access to the Jest Read It reading program and its associated materials, which may include schedules, discussion prompts, community spaces, recordings, and live sessions.

Access is personal and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.

The program is structured as a cohort-based experience with a defined schedule. Access to materials, discussions, and events may be limited to the duration of the program.

2. Intellectual Property

All program materials, including but not limited to written materials, guides, recordings, discussions, graphics, schedules, prompts, and resources, are the intellectual property of the creator unless otherwise noted.

Materials are provided for personal use only. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without written permission is prohibited.

Short excerpts from published works may occasionally be referenced or quoted for discussion and commentary purposes. All rights to those works remain with their respective copyright holders.

3. Community Participation

Participation in community discussions, live events, or other shared spaces is expected to remain respectful and constructive.

The host reserves the right to moderate discussions and remove participants who engage in disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior. Removal from community spaces does not entitle a participant to a refund.

Live sessions or discussions may be recorded for the benefit of participants who cannot attend.

4. Program Nature

Jest Read It is a hosted reading experience designed to support community discussion and shared exploration of a literary work.

The program is not a formal academic course and does not provide professional literary instruction or certification.

5. No Guarantees

All content is provided for informational and discussion purposes only. No specific outcomes, completion of the book, or results are guaranteed.

6. No Refunds

Due to the nature of the digital program provided — including immediate access to materials, community spaces, and recordings — all purchases are final and non-refundable.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to update or modify content, schedules, platforms, community structures, or these Terms of Service as needed to maintain or improve the program.

Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updates.
